Ice Tunnel

After a lot of research I found this strange abandoned factory in an industrial part of St. Petersburg. It was quite sparse - with only graffiti, overgrowth and shy vagrants to be seen - but it was fascinating to walk through. I was especially intrigued by these long, icy tunnels. I had no way of knowing how deep the water was or how frozen the ice was (it was spring so it could have gone either way) and, despite having made many an irresponsible decision over the years in regards to abandoned buildings, I fought the urge to walk the corridors. I may have to return to St. Petersburg in the dead of winter to find out what’s on the other side.
